In recent weeks, I've been working on my chimney swift tower for the Stevens Point Sculpture Park. I'm trying hard to document my process and share it here.
Pictured above are some hand carved oak pins that I've been experimenting with.
A hole is drilled, glue is added to the hole, and the pin is hammered in. Using a chunk of oak as a mallet gives me the right feel so as to not break the pin.
