Ely Winterfest Snow Sculpting Symposium

Last week, I traveled to Ely, MN for their Winter Festival and more specifically to participate in the International Snow Sculpting Symposium. I teamed up with four others to carve "Dino Fight!" We spent three and a half long days carving and shoveling to create this piece. It turned out pretty swell.

Adding to my experience, my friend and teammate Sarah let me stay at her very quaint, little cordwood cabin.



Although I didn't have much time or energy left over I did make it out for a couple hikes with Betty and Holiday.
