Next week I'll be traveling to Ely, MN to participate in a Snow Sculpting Symposium. Here in Stevens Point, just enough snow fell for me to make a couple blocks to practice on before I go. Last night I carved the smaller, dirtier of the two. I found pine cones, ice chunks, and other debris that made it an extra challenge.
Lost in lines of ink, splashes of color, and scraps of wood, I weave sensations of excitement and serenity while searching for inspiration beyond the glowing screens and fancy gadgets that consume daily life. Please enjoy the latest work I have to share.
